  • After the long and unavoidable absence of classical music in Johannesburg and all the problems faced by society in general, the Johannesburg Musical Society is still alive and kicking. Four concerts have been scheduled for the delight of discerning music lovers for the months of June, August, October and November 2022.

    Join music lovers in the Linder Auditorium on the Wits Educational Campus (St Andrews Road, Parktown) - Johannesburg's most popular venue for musical events - to hear our superb and varied programmes. All concerts will take place on Sunday afternoons at 15:00.

    All concerts cost R200 per seat, with the exception of the Minnesota Brass Quintet (Concert on 14 August), for which tickets cost R400 each.

    All Johannesburg Musical Society concerts are open to the public. But remember, that if you're a member, you pay far less for tickets and you also have the privilege of preferential booking and a free programme.
